Spring 2024, 12 year old Estrella is running around the yard like a seven year old, twin doeling in tow. She kidded independently as an 11 year old in 2023as well, twin does sired by Rosasharn MM King Triton. In 2022 she gave us a doe sired by Hanson Hideaway Fastbreak. That's five daughters in four different Performance Homes yet to freshen and hopefully shine.
Dam to the one and only SG Redstone SF Dark Star EX 90 EX 92 Breed Leader and ADGA Elite doe 2016-2021. Dam to the sire of the late and wonderful Redstone DHRV Raynan James who in turn gave us fan favorite, and my own personal favorite SG Redstone Rosie The Riveter, along with daughters Riatta and Rosetta. Top contributor to the breeding that produced SG Redstone Pony Bellatrix and you can see her mark in the beautiful Noall's Ark Raclette EX 90, with E in General Appearance where Estrella is also the top contributor to inbreeding. There's not much worth saying about this herd without a nod to Estrella who has touched just about every indiidual that made the shortests lists when the herd waned hard 2021-224.
Estrella was the first kid I reserved before birth based on pedigree. 3/4 sister to the gorgeous GCH DesertNanny BR Tia Maria, sharing the same maternal grandam Esperamza La Madraina, as well as the same sire, with additional close relatives working in the DesertNanny herd who have appraised well, earned their dry legs, and/or finished their championships as senior does in milk.
